Com Net’s IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) allows service providers the ability to deliver television programming to households via a broadband connection using digital IP technology. It requires an account in our middleware and an IPTV set-top box. IPTV is typically bundled with other services like digital phone, and Internet access, collectively referred to as Triple Play.

Com Net’s IPTV department uses the Minerva Middleware platform and encrypts the video content at the request of many programmers. The Minerva Middleware platform allows the service provider to setup the set-top box for an array for services. Com Net has more than 270 channels available at their centralized headend, or we can help you with your headend and middleware.

Com Net’s IPTV department test lab, test a multiply array of set-top boxes with or without DVR (Digital Video Recorder) services, monitor video feeds from the Headend, and help troubleshoot video issues for the service provider.

Com Net’s Network Operations Center (NOC) provides video monitoring services and network configuration to the Video Service Providers (VSP) on a 24/7/365 basis. Our After Hours Customer Service (AHCS) provides customer service to VSPs for after hours or overflow.
